Every night when I close my eyes
That nights events run through my mind
The way my heart sunk when he pulled in
The sight of him I had come to hate
As I walked outside, unsure of what to
     expect
He walked swiftly towards me, face taunt
He flung his nasty words my way
He then pushed me aside and strolled on
     by
Heart racing, I rushed to block him from
     my door
Once again, flinging nasty words
He pushed me out of his way
Determined to enter my home
With his words he battered my guest
Once again I tried to intervine
Once again I was shoved aside
He was in such a jealous rage
Never thinking of our son I carried
Only thinking of himself
When he finally left, leaving dust behind
My body shook with emotion
Blood running hot through my veins
But yet, no help would come
"No crime committed" is what I'm told
As I lie in the hospital the next night
I learn my son, my life, was no longer
     alive
For  32 weeks I carried him
In less than 15 minutes
His father took it all away
Thats what I see, every night when I
     close my eyes.

That is so terrible! I can't believe that anyone could be so heartless and cruel! You write wonderfull poetry, straight from your heart. I loved this, but it made me cry, it really did. I think your name has something to do with this... are you honoring your son? I'm so, so sorry....

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Mordecai, my heart goes out to you, sweet friend, I can't understand too how such people can be so abusive like that, jealousy is such a terrifying thing and my heart goes out to you and your loss, shame on him but this act of cruelty! (wipes tears) I am speechless and I send angel hugs of sympathy out to you, God Bless You, know we are all here if you need someone to talk to, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Wow! This is a very intense write. I'm so sorry you went through this situation. I'm so deeply sorry on the loss of your son. I hope you are free of the situation now.

Very tragic scenario.
Is this fiction or did you actually experience it? If so, you have my condolences. A very well-written poem!

God bless!
