North of You
barriers are down
I am slipping away
beyond
the instant replays
never looking back.

~~*~~

my emotions
like echoes
rebound
in this stillness

~~*~~

words
aren't enough
to massage
the will
that resides
in my darkness

~~*~~

the unspoken
mourns the missing
the blue
of your eyes

~~*~~

You are
an acquired taste
and I am hungry
for the unusual

~~*~~

I wait
to drink before you
wasting nothing
wanting more
than the blind can see

~~*~~

you doodle well...fascinating feel to these

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Maureen, Every one is exceptional.
Enjoyed them all a great deal.
Some touching, some stunning, some too real.

Thanks for sharing your talent.

Warm Regards,
Pat

M,
I hope there will be more doodles!

Sue, thanks just a few thoughts  I couldn't make into one poem. *s
Thank you Noah

MarkV, I always think of the under 20 whenever you are around..but I usually am never at a loss for words, and to do 20 or under I have to control myself *s

jwesley,  yes they were making me think thoughts I try not to have sometimes.
Thank You.
