Palm Shade

A palm tree lends its shade to me
While watching magic of the sea
The clouds make phantoms in the air
The sun makes gold of light that’s there.

And I am off into a wile
A stay onto a protyle Isle
And there I search for ecstasy
The women of my fantasy

No knight no armor, no lance
Just a touch of sweet romance
A tête-à-tête to sooth my fate
An innovate of dreamers state.

I love the land of non exist
There are no rules or moralists
You rule the moment with your mind
Without reality to blind

The journey is a pleasant one
And free to almost everyone.

I love the words you use to create your fantasties and the way you weave them all together.

Now, that is magic! (ok, hard work and education and natural talent, too)

(smiling)

So, the magic is in your ability to make it look so easy, and to make the setting of this fantasy sound so appealing.  Fun Read. Liked it a great deal.

Warm Regards,
Pat

Ah, Seymour... I think you've just written the definitive poem for daydreamers. *G*

I love the land of non exist
There are no rules or moralists
You rule the moment with your mind
Without reality to blind

I may not have your palm trees... but I sure do live that verse! *G* I love this!!!!

Spoken with the heart and mind of Walter Mitty fame. Well done smiles of your wiles.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Mr. T.,.......there, it's saved! I visit that world often, and I care not whether thou hast naught--no lance, no armor--It matters not a wit since you be best at woo!

The only problem with that for me,
Is that I want more than I can see

So true though Sy, and I am so jealous, what I would give to see a palm tree, it is raining buckets here today.

Nicely done my friend.  Hi, Isabel

Let there be peace on earth,

Seymour darling heart, you know how my soul reacts to this utter beauty of thought. How is it do you think that daily you come up with the utter beauty’s. the quality is divine and I love this utterly utterly

A fata morgana, a mist of make believe
A fairy castle whose spells you weave
A mirage that wavers in the air mistily
By the power of your words all this I see
Don’t stop the magic you do so well
These tales of wonder that you tell
Talk to me about the fairies dew
Speak to me of dragons’ fire anew
Lead me to the place of your inner voice
Show me where dreamers find a choice
Within the fantasy of words you show
The place of magic where I wish to go
Never a thought of what does he see
You reveal it all within your poetry

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire

Sounds like a paridise... Not a woman's paridise, but if I were a boy (and you guys know I'm not) I would really want to be there... Great poem

Marsha,
You are a marvel at replies. It seems you hold the string of the poem and fly with it.
Thank you my dear.

Wind,
Transition is a hope of the poem. Why not inter change. LOL

Seymour darling heart you offer me the kite and naturally I’m swept in flight to the place that you keep in dream to the world where wishes are seen

You are an amazing writer darling man, and I love each one that I get the chance to read and respond to.
