standing on a shadow's lace

Exposed

come......
I want to feel
your laughter
against my skin
see the sun
melt in your eyes
when day is at end
enjoy precious moments
when my soul
is exposed
unlocking doors
that before slammed
tightly closed
to truly know
I have found
a moment intertwined
that others
forever seek
and never find

I’m not disappointed,  I never expected anything from you.

GAWD, I love this and relate! Your style is always simple and elegant, yet intense and felt by the reader.  Helen, I reiterate for the billionth time - get published dangit!

Take care,

Helen, this is wonderful. I agree with the previous reply. I can see it, now.
A tall, narrow booklet filled with all your talent..... I'd buy one

Thanks, enjoyed.

Wow! Such lovely thoughts, to find a relationship that was so wonderfully liberating and tittilating. Excellent feel to this piece. Not one extraneous word, you are so good at that.

A rare moment indeed written in rare form by a very special lady. You do this so well!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
