I dance and play
all through the day
and try          you may
but catch me~
you never will.

Held in the light
within your sight
I fall prey       to the night
when the morn arises~
I won’t return until.

I am the shadows
that spellbind     your mind.

If I have touched one heart through my words, then I have acheived my dream...

{On wings of words our spirits fly~ and our souls are free.  ~me}

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, nice! I've written my share of poems about shadows, but this one's good. ;D

May your shadow wander!

(smiles) Oh Donna, this is sooooooo gorgeous, sweet friend, I love it! Shadows are so mischievious, aren't they, but when it's clody, bad news for shadow! LOL! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Donna, thank you for sharing!

May love and light alwyas shine upon you!

Love,

Hmmm, did some thinking,
but nothing has come to mind...
yet!

Donna, I really liked the words, and how it darted in and out like the very shadow it depicted in my mind.  Nicely done.

That is exactly what it is like! The fleeting in and out of our shadow self.
The yin and yang of our thoughts...

Very nice, Donna! I think Shadows is a fine title. Or maybe Elusive Shadows or something to that effect?

Donna, thank you for the thoughts that this brought forth in my mind. Which lately seems to be spending an awful lot of time in the dark.

Hugs, Marti

Donna darling girl oh my! This is simply one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. I truly don’t get here enough but there is only so much time in the day. I’m glad I didn’t get to miss this utter beauty it is extremely special the writing is perfect I love it utterly utterly

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire
