Being acutely analyzed By a microscope of public opinion Inspection so minutely discerning That you tip toe Thin line of variation Straight line of apprehension Spirit wavering to be a free again In bare feet dancing Strict rules of accepted norms Minds tied to strict conformity Do not walk on the grass To feel Natures power underneath you A terrain so wildly inhibited Only in your own limitations To traverse the obstacles Of the ultimate wilderness No road map for this journey Your imagination is your guide The explosive strength inside you builds Releasing the exhilarating challenge Dissecting every minute detail You free float in an open environment The law of the land of survival ability In everything around, there is a question The answer lying, just over the next hill In a campfire of a billion stars Your loved one bonds together In a new found closeness For this universe will never be closed minded The quest here is to find the self analysis That builds the confidence of a natural smile In a heart now mellow with the juices of life Releasing built up cholesterol of frustrations In the final conclusion You find out what really matters in life Is finding your own brilliance Within your self reflection of confidence Sharing the beauty with your loved one D.Lester Young 11/9/2002 Tuscaloosa, AL |

Ok in my opinion this is a kick-ass poem with some very powerful lines and observations....keep up the good work and never let the converters convert you!  "Write what you feel, not what u think you should feel." |
