I saw it in his one good eye.
Mister Gibbs is gonna die.

and there was nothing else to do...

So?

I sang to him--the blues--
then I played Taps
upon kazoo.

I watched his dimples
ride too wide--

I watched him smile to life again...


Mister Gibbs? He just won't die.


there is nothing else to do...

This sure reminds me of my beloved Buster who lived to 20 years. Enjoyed.
