Beanie Babies, Pokemon,
Cabbage Patch and Barbies,
Gi Joe and baseball cards,
What the hell's a Furby?

Pet rocks are neat
They don't eat,
They just lay there,
Seldom speak.

Stand in lines,
Camp there at night,
If you butt in,
Watch women fight.

Spend six bucks,
On a ten cent bear,
Full beans,
With purple hair.

No Pokemons yet
Daughter's got Beanies,
No need to fret,
Cashed in CD's!!

Ah, getting a headstart on your Christmas shopping I see!

--You're even willing to sell your CDs for the money to buy your daughter some presents---now that is what I call love!

-- And is not that what you are?--one great big vessel of love? tehe

This was cute and fun--just like you!

Hey, Mr. Toe.....Kinda sounds like the fair without the
rides?? Where you been and where'd you see all these things.
Oh, I bet you went Christmas shopping, or birthday shopping??
By the way, I've got four "Furby's" and I  LOVE  them.
Scooter sure doesn't, though. (That's my little dog, in case you
didn't read my poem).  Gary thinks the "Furby's" are little government spys. HaHa!!
Anyway, I liked your little poem. It's cute.

(I  JUST   LOOKED  AT  THE  TITLE.....Duuh!!!....
should've listened before I spoke, huh??? HeeHee!!)

Love makes the world go 'round (unkown)
with love and hugs from Ethel

Beanie babies smiling
From shelves on my wall
Testify that I have
No common sense at all.
Autographed pictures
Fill every spare space
Everywhere I turn
There's another sports face!
Books and more books
Make moving a pain
And yet another prized title
My wallet will drain!
But there's one collection
I just can't do without -
It's friendships like yours...
My life's blessings - No doubt! *S*

ROFL.... I love your poem, Toe... but yanno... insanity isn't gender dependent. *G* Women aren't the only ones who'll forget any claim to civility if someone cuts in line and/or gets the last one of the newest craze! LOL

This is delightful, sweets!!!!

I enjoyed this, since I have collected in the past and am about to rid myself of all...
but I especially liked Suthern's response to you.

Something serious from Toe?? Well then, I'll just reply in kind, and tell you to watch out for Pokemon...they're a pain in the behind!! My daughter has just about every Pokemon thing out there, and STILL wants more! Now it's Harry Potter collectables as well!! Of course I don't really mind the Harry Potter thing , I'm rather infatuated with the movies and books myself! Good luck with your shopping!

Hello Toe!  It's been awhile...
glad to see you casting smiles...
and was that you at Carnival?
pitching dimes to watch them fall?
