I went back today
to read over the script
and the bit part you played
what should have been obvious
hit me square in the eyes.

Still I can't comprehend
the inconsistency of dual personalities
and your fickle heart that was incapable of feeling
bowing out at your convenience, predictably.

I'd heard rumors but I had to see for myself
and get lost in my own heart
in order to understand the moral of the story
and so it goes.

Once was never enough
the show went on and on
drawn out so it would last longer
while I covered my eyes
refusing to see
fidgeting horribly in my seat
trying to get comfortable in your company.

Hindsight being twenty-twenty
I didn't like being that close so I would have to look
I thought about giving up my season tickets
going, going, gone to the highest bidder
a price that cost me dearly,
all for not.

Knowing full well
there are no stars in low budget movies
no climbing the ladder or falling from grace
tough luck that it happened that way.

There's no rewinding the reruns
no guaranteed returns
loves a long shot at best
and happy endings are a nightmare
when the plot thickens
in order to pay the piper
k sera sera.

You were just one of many
or was that me
or was it purely for attention
aiming to please
to fill your hours and arms
and let me down easy.

Encore encore
grant me an interview
tell me something good
where do you go when it's all over
and what's your real name anyway.

Explain to me again
so that I can understand
the part you played
when the heart ache came
and the reason I cried in the end~

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Lori, my heart goes out to you, sweet friend, sadly sometimes those we love most can seem like the antagonist soetimes and it is so very strange then it all becomes some kind of B-movie to you! (sad sigh) My heart goes out to you and hope all works out in the sequel, sweet friend, God Bless You, encore, we all love you so much! You have such a ebautiful heart, sweet Lori, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

This speaks..and that is a part of what poetry should do.
I love it...*sigh* and I understand it

Sounds like the curtain came down,
   crashing!!
Some movies are over rated, some are
   considered sleepers (before their time).
If you need a hand to hold through the
scary parts, or someone to share the
popcorn with ... I, too, am only a
   friend away.

Season tickets are hard to come by!

Lori, dear friend, If our felings are supposed
to show through in poetry, you have certainly
accomplished  that in this poem. It's like
you've finally got the other person
figured out. I truly hope that this
poem is totally from observation,
and that you aren't really having to go through this, sweet friend.

Lori gal, can I keep this forever?
It is so totally 100%! An outstanding writing, from the opening to the closing curtain.
