“PLACES IN DREAMLAND”

Come walk with me, hold my hand,
I’ll take you to places in dreamland…
A castle drifting across the blue sky,
clouds to touch you with a lullaby…

Perhaps I’ll show you a love garden,
with flowers and smells of jasmine…
Then again I may pick for you a rose,
present it with romance, watch you glow…

I’d touch you in the softest of places,
melt together, like warm poetic verses…
Whisper my thoughts to you of fantasies,
to forget your cares, all your anxieties…

Come walk with me, hold my hand,
I’ll take you to places in dreamland…
Hold me close in a sweet embrace,
this castle waits for you, with silk lace…

Bill, I think nobody else writes this way about love in
"Dreamland" like you do. It's absolutely beautiful.
BTW I hope you don't mind me getting the idea
for my poem from your other one about "Dreams Tasted".
Thanks for sharing your feelings.

Perfect morning for a fairytale. Enjoyed the romance and lightness to this poem.
