OPEN TO ME
MOTHER EARTH
I WHO ROSE
WISH TO FALL
TAKE ME INTO YOU
COMPLETE THE CIRCLE
I MISS MOTHER
I LOST
SO LONG AGO
ONLY NOW
I REMEMBER
YOUR CARESS
MAKE ME YOURS
TAKE MY BLOOD
MY CHILDREN
WILL BE YOURS
BLOOD RED
AND WE'LL CALL THEM

POPPY

The very deep did rot: O Christ!
That ever this should be!
Yea, slimy things did crawl with legs
Upon the slimy sea.

Hello Paul

Your heartfelt words chilled me to the bone.  I can relate so well to how you feel as I lost my father to asbestos cancer and have never got over it.  I hope your writing is able to bring you some solace as I know it has for me.

Take care..........Sue

I'm anchored in you

Guess i should explain a bit

Poppy day is in UK a fund for old soldiers and a commemoration of all those who gave their lives in pursuit of peacethis is my tribute to fallen heroes

The very deep did rot: O Christ!
That ever this should be!
Yea, slimy things did crawl with legs
Upon the slimy sea.
