Toerag had taken a moonlight gig Driving a Yellow Cab part time. He'd found no pay for what he did, Writing poetry that seldom rhymed. To his surprise, early one night, Waiting patiently at the taxi stand, A Nun signaled him for a ride, With a timid wave of the hand. After being seated in the back seat, The Nun caught Toe's avid stare. "Excuse me, my man. Pardon me! Why are you looking back here?" Toe kept staring, his eyes intent, His face turning red as he spoke, "I'm sorry Sister, no disrespect meant, And I'm not saying this as a joke. "I've always wanted to kiss a Nun Since my days in a Catholic choir. Seeing you there, I'm overcome, I feel like my soul is on fire." "Just one kiss wouldn't hurt, I guess," Said the Nun in response to Toe, "It may help you overcome your stress, And may even save your soul." "But you must be a single man, The Commandments must be obeyed." "I'm single, I promise," with raised hand, Toe's assurances were conveyed. Toe pulled onto a darkened street, Where they'd be seen by no one, Then quickly climbed into the back seat, To realize his dream with the Nun. One kiss led to another and more, Toe found the Sister eager and sweet. But his guilt finally broke the amour There on that darkened street. "Sister, I must confess, I have lied," Toerag admitted with shame on his face. "I'm not Catholic and I am married, besides. Can you forgive me for this disgrace?" "I must admit, I have lied to you," Said the Nun with the sensuous mouth. "I rented this Habit for a Halloween Do, And you can call me Ralph." Heh - That ol' Toe never was a good judge of character, but then, he never was particular, either! [This message has been edited by LngJhnAg (10-29-2002 04:24 PM).] |
