I cried myself to sleep last night,
I'm sorry for what I have done.
Knowing that I've hurt you,
Makes me feel so awful.
I can't believe what I have done!
Knowing that it was the right thing
Doesn't help one bit
I didn't want to string you along,
So I had to let you go.
I couldn't say "I love you"
And mean it anymore
I'm sorry that it has
Worked out this way, but
I know I had to let you go.
I'm sorry that it ended so soon,
But I couldn't deal with the pressure anymore
You're a great guy,
But I just can't do this anymore
I'm so sorry that I've hurt you
And I hope you understand,
Why I feel this way and
That I just had to let you go.

I don't know if you are going to like this poem so much, but I wrote it after breaking up with my boyfriend and I feel really bad about it, but things weren't working. So... that's that.

i think you used the repeated lines very well in this piece. alot of people go overboard with it, but you kept it at a good pace. this is a hard thing for everyone to go through and i think you wrote about it very well. i especially liked this bit:

I completely understand how you feel. I broke up with mine for the same reason a few times but immediately got back together because he made me feel so bad but unfortunately it doesnt make n e thing change on my part..you have to do whats best for you and thats what you did and im proud of your for it as hard as it was. Stay strong hun it will get easier.
