Lost in thought

We look up at the guiding star.
We are the weary travelers.
The walk, the road, seems just to far,
For us, the weary travelers.

But the guiding star; the light
That leads us bright, o’erhead;
Reminds us of our worthy plight
With each new step we tread.

And now we’re walking, walking;
A constant battle, in all its worthy grand.
This worthy task we once were mocking;
Just footprints left upon the sand.

We look up at the guiding star.
We are the weary travelers.
The walk, the road, seems just to far,
For us, the weary travelers.

And now we see an angel’s light
We kneel down, though muscles worn.
Beauty immerses from the darkest night
The Savior has been born.

And with each step we take in life
Look up to God o’erhead
When you want to curse the bitter strife
Look to the Lord Instead.

(I know its not a great one, but it IS about Christmas![true CHRISTmas])

Always, GG

No, on second thought, let's not go to Camelot.
