in the pouring rain

An individual who has lost her way in the world
Forgotten the right way and perfected the wrong
Sobbing in a corner just to get the laugh out of you
Always making you smile, wishing she could to
Her friends say, how can you not like her
She always begs to differ
She’s not a prep, as far as I know or can see
Just a girl trying to get through the eighth grade
Never have quite figured her out
She always makes a joke, but never gets in trouble
Medium grades, not as good as she would like
Loves cows and monkeys, guess she thinks their cool
No exactly beautiful, but that doesn’t bother her
And she doesn’t care what people think
Great philosophy in life, and pretty good with words
There’s no one else like her
Don’t think there will ever be
But then again, could the world handle more
I know her pretty well, haven’t known her that long
Just found her this summer
But I couldn’t be happier being just the way she is

perhaps you could change the title?

i don't personally see it as a good idea to use the names of movies as titles for poetry.  especially if it's still in theatres.

thanks for sharing though.

/jen/

i'm so bitterly disappointed.  betty, i think it's time you leave now.

/jen/: I changed the title right after I read your reply. To this I was not aware of a movie called Crazy Beautiful. I don't know. Thanks for your reply.

Ina: Thanks for replying.

Skyfire: Sad? Hm.....not intended to be that way, but ok. Whatever suits you.

Riley~
I really enjoyed reading this bit of insight
into you and your life.
I do have to agree with Rhonda that it is a rather
thought-provoking piece...I like that.
I also liked how you wrote it in third person.
Very nicely done and a great response to the challenge.
