Holy art thou government
That depleats its nations God
From its nations pride and joy
But taxes smut
And the cigarettes they mass produce
To mass murder
The mass population
That elects them to their chairs.

Imajica-

A very truthful write.^^ The repetition of "mass" gives a good strength to the piece. The only line I didn't really catch was:

"But taxes smut"

Didn't really understand the use of "smut" in that context. o_O;
Keep up the great writing!

Very well written.  The title is clever and the poem is a witty, condescending apostrophe...

Very cool writing.
