Sweet words you whisper to me
In the security of the starlit night.
Two souls in a world all their own...
I clear my mind to focus only on
The way your eyes sparkle in the moonlight,
And how your hair slightly blows with the breeze.

A touch of your hand upon my cheek...
I close my eyes as the scent of your skin
Now becomes a permanent scent to me.
You smile is soft, and welcoming me
To press mine against yours urgently;
As the passion unfolds between us.

Closer I move to you as you gently
Take my hair and place in behind my ear.
Cautiously you inch closer and closer to me
Until I finally come to feel your breath on my neck;
Our noses barely touch as you
Take your time in caressing my lips...

Once they meet, after much confidence has been gained,
The kiss seems to last for hours on end;
Only pausing slightly to take a quick breath.
When finally we do part, I look deep into you
With extreme satisfaction and astonishment;
Forever will that be the kiss that stole my heart...

And as the night went on and the moon beamed down,
I knew that moment would last for all eternity...*

aww so sweet! I know exactly what you mean here cause I wrote a poem about a first kiss too. Great job! full of emotion and very descriptive

I tried to read this the other day while walking in the hallway. Now that I read it again, and I'm really able to take it in...it captured me. From beginning to end. This is quite a beautiful piece, Jenn. It's almost scary how close it hits home...Heh. Anyway...this was aboslutely beautiful. As close to perfect as it could possibly be. Loves.
