A white rose I give to thee
to show the world my love
A tender blossom fragile and pure
to hold always in your care
Forever and beyond it will survive
to remind you of my love
A petal may fall when I shed a tear
but it will always grow back
May the sweet fragrence of it's bloom
remind you of me and our love

~*~ To someone special

This is definitely sweet, Skyfire.  I like the part about how the petals will always grow back... so true, isn't it?

Nice work.

Aw, thanks you guys! I have a cult following! Okay, maybe not, but it's nice to see that people attempt to get through my babbling. To be honest, I thought this one was a little forced, but I wanted to write something for/to him, and I didn't want to wait till inspiration came. The first two lines were a part of another poem that didn't work out too well, but I liked those lines, so I used 'em again. Thanks again for reading you guys! *big hugs*

Where did you take the two lines from? I'm sure I recognise them
