Sometimes today is different
Than yesterday
Sometimes I don't feel the biting pain
Of your words
To hate you must first have loved
And I did
So long ago
And now
I hate
Because you hate
I thought maybe you were different
And you are
but you still cause me pain
Maybe not physically
But it is just as bad
because I am nobody
To you
And I believe you

I don't know if today is a good day, or if yesterday was, or if tomorrow will be, but I'd like to think so.

You aren't nobody...just because someone who once loved you thinks you are, you don't need to believe them. Don't listen to them! Well done!

Elizabeth is right, you're most certainly someone, no matter what anyone might think or say. You wrote this, didn't you? You have a gift, and that alone makes you someone special. Great poem! Keep on a'writing!

Good write. One of the lines used to be my signature on here.

Ironically, I heard that in 7th grade from someone that ended up being my first love. He hates me now. *sad sigh* Nice poem.
