Standing In Silence...

0 posted 2003-01-16 06:40 PM

-this is the third and probably last of this small collection i've made up..i hope u enjoy-

Look down upon the reflection
that shimmers in the placid water
It seems unhappy yet content with life
It seems not to long ago
these waters were frozen
with the icy hand of winter
The trees sway in the wind
the creatures of the forest
are once again aroused from slumber
And the reflection falters
and drifts away as
as a softly blown leaf ripples
the image away.

If You Wanna See A Rainbow, You've Gotta Live Through The Rain. And If You Wanna See Through Love, You've Gotta Live Through The Pain.

Spine Grinder~
I REALLY like this.
You've got some wonderful imagery in this piece,
and your talent is showing.
Beautifully done.

Smashing, grinder, smashing. I wish I had more to say, but I don't, it was just superb.

A great write, good solid imagery and most of all continuity, it's a very well executed ending to a very interesting series of poems, thank you for sharing it with us all
