lying on the floor in an airport gate
don't know if it's 9 or 10 or 8
which time zone will wake me in a foreign land?
which stranger will stop to take my hand?
where am i going and where did i start?
which carry-on luggage carries my heart?
all i know is i have too many bags
and all of my packages wear the same tags
i'll board the plane and i'll smile at the crew
i'll trust that the pilot will know what to do
because somewhere around 21,000 feet
is somebody i have been dying to meet

no i will NOT wait three seconds!
