The heart of you

My love, my heart is filled with dreams of you
That speak to me beyond the starred sky.
They speak to me of love, forever new;
Of places where the heart need not ask why.
My love, they tell me of your face so bright,
Of eyes that see me as I really am;
And yet, behind those eyes, there is a light
That shines its love, and heals a lonely man.
My love, if I could take the stars above
And give them each to you as on a chain
To tell the world how much I am in love,
I’d find I’d have to do it all again.

This dream of you is held within my heart.
A dream that we, my love, will never part.

What light through yon window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
