Migrating from my nylon cocoon
A multicoloured woollen mess
Like a butterfly gone wrong
I scratch my freshly grown beard

Boots laced I step outside
Cold air sears my lungs
Shingle crunching under foot
Never have I known such quiet

The clouds below me now
A million stars fill spacious skies
The full moon has risen as promised
Revealing kilimanjaro in all its majesty

This is lovely. I could see the view in all it's splendor. Nicely done.

Touch me with your whispers,
and I'll listen with my heart.

Yay!!! Oh my gosh, this is soooooo beautiful, sweet friend, I have never been to Africa but dream so much of going to certain places there (in the summer, of course) and seeing this mighty mountain! (big hugggssssss)n This is wonderful, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Aaron, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Zall~
Welcome to Passions~

I enjoyed the metaphor references in this~

And ... Kilamanjaro ... just the name of it is poetry in itself ... agree ?

Thank you for turning a photo-page in my mind~

Zall,
Reminds me of that Hemingway treatise on lion-hunting in Africa, as well as his short story The Snows of Kilimanjaro -- and there's that other one with the guy who finally does something right, while he thinks he's dying, by killing a lion. *ahem* Anyway ... Makes me want to visit!
