With Tongue in Cheek

I’ve closed my eyes on some surmise
I cannot touch its realize.
It slips from underneath my hand
With constant flow of time and sand

The juxtapose impedes the flow
Constant often forgets hello
And so I go from end to end
And cannot seem to round the bend.

It seems to me a lonely sail
Jonah swallowed by the whale.
And I’m afraid when said and done
That one and one is only one

We all lean out the window frame
To set a purpose to our aim
But still it stays within my head
We really sleep a single bed.

But let us say we could move in
It’s two to one we’d live in sin.

Gloriously decadent of you to pen this Sy, but I liked it a lot.

I would have enjoyed seeing the
Cheshire cat, Sy.  As it is, I shall
have to use my vivid imagination that he is just
sitting on the limb with a huge ol' grin
on his puss...
but if you see him, tell me, okay?

Toe,
How did I know you would say that?

Sunshine,
I see your cat But don't know how to get it to come up on the bottom of my poem. LOL

If reading your poetry were a sin ...
I'd let the flames singe me skin
The powers that be could throw a fit...
Id do it anyway and then say ...

the devil made me do it

Hows about a kiss on the cheek

In the space between now and then
I lost the fire, lost a friend
and Ill never be the same again
Still, I believe in the innocence
we gave away.

(smiles) Oh my gosh, I too saw the Cheshire Cat from Alice In Wonderland because he always gives those tongue-to-cheek impressions! (big hugggssssss) This is excellent, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Seymour darling heart oh look you did it again, this is wonderful. I’m late again, but truly I have a note explaining why…….. nothing to serious only a migraine, this however brought a smile to my face. As always darling man you write supremely well, and I love this utterly utterly love it.

Kitty,
Yes Toe is a character but a lovable one.
The cat is a first attempt at a gif and was surprised to see it when I came to answer you.

Noah,
The cat is a first, glad you enjoyed
