He used to ride the open space his six shooter his only friend no lady waited his return a cowboys lone his only end. He rode through sunsets on his own his horse the one he spoke to most no home to ever return to his happiness a shallow boast. Then late one night in deep fatigue his past returned to hold his hand no longer must he ride alone her heart was filled with understand. They stood at waters edge that night the moon rose bright to verify no love is ever lost in truth just hidden under clouded sky.
