It doesn't matter that
I gave you my soul,
loving you as I had
never loved before.

It doesn't matter I risked
losing my world as I knew
it...I thought you were
worth the risk.

Convincing me to give into
you-I was never a treasure
to you, only an item of
convenience.

Deceiving me only for your
pleasure...I should have
known better...Someone as
special as you can only
be found in dreams.

My love for you is genuine,
I gave it my all...You never
really gave "us" a chance.

It doesn't matter how much
my heart aches for you...
I will wait an eternity
loving you forever.

Did you ever care?

I know exactly how this feels. They tend to take advantage of us. Then just toss us aside. Hon, it is there loss, not ours.
