I offered book
most wickedly
and said,
"If that is true,
you'll swear..."

"Take your palm.
Receive the calm.
then tell me
there is nothing there..."

"I promise you.
You will feel nails..."
I swear, by bottom lip--bit frail--

I tremble now upon my cross--
flesh be "just" the holocaust.
You think we argue gods, but no...
between lines, it's written so.

Marry me within my mind
and leave my languages unspoke.
Melt the crystal rock of time--
chopped in lines until I choke.

I'm searching for another way--
I wait for sun in nail of edge...
grasping at stars hope of trail--
I blanket myself dark instead.

I pull the sheet over my head.
Too bad.
How sad.
Pronounce me--"dead."

give me just three
days repose...
then let the stone
roll from the hole.
Lazarus shall rise
renewed...

Tell me
you don't
feel it too...

.............. damn ..........

In the space between now and then
I lost the fire, lost a friend
and Ill never be the same again
Still, I believe in the innocence
we gave away.

yes to what JM and Cpat said
and I add
*sigh*
you are so powerful with your words
and the meanings...
it takes awhile
to absorb it all
but then
that's what makes
fine art
imo
you blaze, Karen
NO pun intended

The darkness answers with whispered screams.

Thank you.

What light through yon window breaks?  It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
