After So Long
I too will say goodbye to a life without God
but once the roses thorny arms lift to pray
I know this poem will be so true

As God begins to seek my soul
As I begin to walk his waters
Lost but now found
A new person I am

I never knew I could be so wrong
an openning of doors
a new beginning
a forever
when never is present
a never when forever cannot be seen

I really, really love the first 2 stanzas, but I get confused the last part of the 3rd, can you help me?

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
