sleep's threads
weave a coverlet of warmth
beckon the body
to seek
renewal

©October 5, 2002

wind sweeps
sunlight, across the vista,
nipping its rays
a panorama, of cool,
emerges,
brushes my cheeks
and shoulders
with a
touch of chill
yet
I am still
brightened in its glow

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away.

heading for my thesaurus

I've had so little time to play with my cyber pen, that I'm going berserk this a.m., can't even figure out how to spell berserk! It doesn't look right.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
