Truth is, I don’t have much
to pitch a fit about

though it might be fun
to stomp my feet, fall limp to the floor
dead weight against your hand
and scream

everyone would hear me
and turn to see
but you

you would roll your eyes
(knowing it would humor me)
and walk away
(knowing it would rouse me).

Truth is, my lamentations
are few

my mistakes
were festive while I was making them
the consequences
don’t readily come to mind.

I doubt I was entitled
to more

so, I don’t have much
to pitch a fit about

least not tonight.

why is it I can picture you throwing yourself on the ground just to make a scene for the sport of it and the reaction you'd get?!

Duncan,
LOL I do like tihs. I found your typo. It is spelled a-r-o-u-s-e.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

So now you're pitching fits instead of horseshoes? LOL, and of course you did it just to get attention. Does this technique work for you?
ROTFL as I picture you kicking and screaming and flailing about.
You can be really naughty, yanno?

UH, er, this is a challenge response?
silly me, I thought you were having a hissy fit!

you know, i've always wondered what my ex was doing with all her spare time... i know now she was spending it with you! *rolling eyes* seriously though, this whole stanza caught me, shook me, threw me on the floor, remembering it as if it were my own memory... wait, it is. geez.

wow. yup. 'nuff said.

peace m'friend.

I'm with you on this one.

Duncan

You are mellow...I like that....and I think you laugh, even at yourself at times...also a good thing...so why complain?  Enjoyed this!

Hey, Duncan, I sure did relate to this one. With some of the "moods" I find myself in, I want to throw fits lots of times!! (Just ask Gary). But little ole me  NEVER  throws fits......Yeah, Right!! Thanks for sharing your own moods with us and for expressing them so well.
