Intermittent Thought We’ve been together for a while Over two years have passed I don’t know about you But I want this to last Over the following couple of years My feelings have grown strong I ache for your company For you to stay so long I crave the warmth of your body Laying next to me I yearn for your touch That’s not hard to see I pine for the old days When your lips touched mine Longing to tell you how I feel Just desperate for a sign An indication about the way you feel Instead of these conflicting clues Either you care or you don’t It has to be one of the two We are no longer affectionate And that decision was yours I think that you’re worried Of opening new doors Doors you can’t shut Because emotions we will share You will have no alternative But to acknowledge that you care If that’s not the case And for me you don’t care I will let you go Because that is what’s fair It’s essential to be free To attain a love that’s true And it’s crucial to move on And start each life anew Memories will linger And every now and then will stir We can each reminisce About the way that we were Memories will transform As time goes on Unimportant details diminish Until they are gone Leaving us with nothing But an intermittent thought About a special individual Of whom we have forgot [This message has been edited by Sinful_Steph (10-04-2002 12:33 PM).] |

This is good. If its intended isn't moved by it than the decision (seemingly half made) may have to be implemented. From heaven to the current purgatory to a temporary hell. Ain't life grand? Keep writing, it helps. |
