Stir, sweet silent mercy
in cloud lingering light

Swirl your heavy cream kiss into morn

Wisp across my blank paper thoughts
tilting wayfarer caresses of my own resolve

I am weary of nothing
though, grasp my sweater round
Your gentle reminder
nudging change into my wake

Creative gestures begin to grace the stroke
of time’s swift tick into another notice

Leaves scurry quick, hiding
first signs
that coolness is more ahead than before

A fine read, this cool morning.

Hey reggie---where ya been? we've all missed you...your style is soft without being saccharine, m'friend, intelligent without being cold and analytical. (Have I told ya all of this before? Bet I have, but I'll type it every time if you stick around awhile! )

wonderful writer you.

There is something about coolness that brings people together.

Thank you.

What a way to end a block,

Regina,
I am so going to miss the warmth.
Yet, this reminds me of how I enjoy all seasons.
Curling up with a blanket, warm drink, fire and a good movie while
the coolness settles in outside!

Reg,
I wanna be where you are! I like it like that. Now you see why I miss you when you're gone.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Regina,

More to this piece than first meets the eye.  A very, very good piece.
