To where has the time flown?Greetings to all my friends and to all you newcomers. As always, it's amazing how quickly time flies by when you are busy...Great news though -- I've just finished my first CD and, if I may make a shameless plug, please visit my website at www.havocrazor.com for more info.I've missed you guys and my second home here at PIP and am sneaking in a brief visit with a little TWENTY OR LESS... for you guys to ponder.I look forward to reading your poems, even if I don't get to respond to every one -- it's so recharging to get a dose of this reality to balance out all of the other ones...Anyways, thank you all & read you soon... -MVS (a.k.a. Havoc Razor)

yes, tis true, tis true

thanks for dropping in...my goal today is to hunt out the zeroes and make them #1's

then to seek out the 1's and make them #2

you were a zero, but only for a moment

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

I've had a few of those thorny kisses. Now I think I'm ready for some silk. Or maybe satin? Or can you conjure up some butterscotch pudding for me? I've missed you, but since I haven't been here for a while myself, maybe you missed me too?
Welcome home, Mark. Now, for the link. SMILING, I exit, stage left.....  So after exiting I went to listen and peruse. Congrats! C'est tres interesant mon ami. Rest assured, Mark, I will visit and listen again.

Hi Mark..happy to see you among the blue pages again. Roses and thorns. such a contadiction, so like life.
Great 20 or less. Stay for awhile!
Sandra
Here is my poem on similar lines, done a few months ago

Rose of Thorns

Sweet scented petal soft beauty
which stands for love and happiness
but marring its' abilities
the thorns which rupture truthfullness.

Love offers gifts to each of us
but with it comes the bitter sting
An unexpected stabbing thus
reality, the rose thorns bring.

Wonderful to see your writing again Mark. Enjoyed this. Chris

Kacy: Of course I've missed you and your humanistic, environmentalistic, supercalafragalistic writing! Thank you so much for the virtual warmth and positivity. Ihre Freude bringt mir Freude auch!  How about a cashmir caress?

Alas, Sandra, paradoxes are the fabric of our third-dimensional existance...  I enjoyed your poem -- brings some points home...

Sy:  thank you for your always respected seal of approval.

Good day, Connie -- thank you for the congrats.  Any new "mental mints" for me?

Thank you, Chris -- it is so nice to visit again...  I will have to make it a point to set aside some quality time to write & read again...

And a to you, the ever-mysterious Vandana!

We have greatly missed our 20 or less poet...
your penalty, should you decide to hang around for a while, is to greet us every day with such gifts...

Welcome home, Mark!
