Rewrite Repost:

       Forgive the Thief

I do in wile confess a guile, a
A pilfered theft of a smile.
Filched and laid away in jest and
Blessed forever in my breast.

The smallest sip of flowers nectar.
For the feed of a bygone vector.
Forever in a picture sown
Fevers me when I'm alone.

Succumbed to this petty pilfer.
Purloined to be a lovers sampler
Worth more then all of yore or
Earthly things, beyond a door.

Forgive me this heinous crime,
This larceny of memory's chime.
What I have taken in hush,
Is but a passions fading blush.

So faint, so fair that I did dare,
A moments transcending flair.
This trace of honey for my nest.
This place of nectar in my breast.

She loves me she loves me not.
Is there anything I forgot?

Now is that where my smile was sent,
into your pocket, where it's bent?
Let it out and I'll smile some more
and greet you thus at passion's door...

I will admit the title grabbed me !
I just may have to 'steal' it ...
for it cause an instant inspire that would take my thoughts and splash my ink in a different direction~

The write is absolutely FANTASTIC !
You delight the senses of this poetess~
Cannot wait to meet you .... and that's a fact~

You are aware, are you not, that your penchant for
fascinating stories affords me an intrigue that I can't wait to experience first-hand ?~

(smiles) Oh Seymour, I just love how you expressed this, love has a way of deceiving but it is never a guilty thief and can always be forgiven as love itself is a blessing even of partial memory! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

To the sly guy Sy,
I have no patience for a thief,
They always cause so much grief.
But what you stole from another's face,
Brings us joy and that's no disgrace!

I must say I loved this poem.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
