Extremes

See sadness come happiness
Feel bitterness grasp sweetness
Frozen times melting to warm rhymes
Depths of despair fresh morning air

Hatred running into arms of love
Vultured mass of pain freed from wings of dove
Homeless being through an open welcoming door
Fallen cypress seeds above floor

Fogged memory twisting a past into present
Voice withering to thundering echoes sent
Fields blackened trodden blooming of tulips scents
Oven lacking flour and heat making bread frequent

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
(Daniel J D)

Daniel

Life is full of extreems...I think that must be how we learn what we want out of life.  Some of it hurts, yes, but without the pain, the feel good would not feel as good.

sorry to go rambling along here...enjoyed your poem.
