I'm sitting in the playhouse
Squirrels are running around
At morning's dawn it is I think
The most peaceful place I've found

I've strolled around the block
Saw the rising of a colored sun
Acacia trees unfolded their leaves
My last day here had just begun

I wrote a poem last night
About this place I've been
About a Queen in Paradise
Where else could she have been

When you have never been up here
In Pennsylvania that is
And never heard the cricket's song
You should come to visit Liz

She is a lady you should meet
I always told you she was a Queen
I didn't change my mind a bit
After all of her I've seen

She has a smile that melts your heart
And on her porch I sit
Looking into dark sky's night
Where all the stars just now were lit

She gives you a feeling of coming home
This woman for ever stole my heart
Her spirit will be travelling along
When at my second week I'll start

For now I'll listen to the cricket's voice
A concert in the stillness of night
Thank you Liz, for being you, my friend
So much more than a Poetess bright

Thanks again Liz for the wonderful days we spend together. And thank you Nan and Ruth for being there too
Titia

Titia

How I envy you this time spent with lovely Liz...and what a charming and heart felt poem you have written...I know it will touch her heart, it did mine.

Titia ... Liz sounds as gracious and wonderful as Nan described her. How I would love to have sat in the playhouse with you and just listened to nature sing.

I am so happy that you are having such a wonderful visit here in America.

Hugs, Marti

Well Titia, looks like you are having a terrific time. Oh yeah Titia, will you give everyone an extra hug and tell them all it is from me? And, I guess they will have to give you an extra hug to be from me. I am glad you are enjoying your visit here.
