Today with the morn
comes a sadness of spirit
as we remember.

What incredible impact in so few words. The visual---with the font in the red, white and blue was very effective.

This moved me very much. After I read it, I read it again, and then I just stared at it with tears falling down my face.

today we all weep
as God draws his light blanket
hugging us children

Thank you sunnyone for your kind words.

Enchantress...yes, indeed, may God Bless America. Thank you.

Linda, Thank you dear friend for your sweet response. The tears will flow freely this day I believe and for some time to come.

Dear sweet Noah, a senryu in response. How very lovely. And a wonderful sentiment. *HuGs*

Thank you.

Thank you Virginia, on waking this morning I was a bit overwhelmed here alone without my husband, who is one of many out on the road today, and a sadness just struck me. I remember him and I together last year, we had each other at least. I feel for the multitude who woke up this morning without a loved one who will never return. Now I'm rambling. Thank you for your sweet response.

Moonlight Romeo, thank you for your response as well.

You've expressed America's feelings today in both words and colors perfectly!
