She lives with pain and anxiety
and has more than her share of misery,
yet each day I see her come to this board
and console others with her chipmunk hugs.
Yes, I said chipmunk hugs, Lyra.
I don't believe in angels,
but I truly do believe in you.

He suffered the loss of a daughter so dear,
and then a father,
and his pain was felt by all of us here.
But he still came to the board some nights
offering support to another friend
who was suffering night frights.
Larry C, you're a soul brother to me.
I don't believe in angels,
but I truly do believe in you.

Thanks friends. They are truly special souls to me, and I've noticed they have a powerfully positive effect on many others  here at Passions.

It's not that I don't believe in angels, just don't see them much beyond here.  And I would have to agree with this poem...whole heartedly!  Many heros/angels here.

Lyra, you are much loved. Healing hugs and peaceful thoughts, and Happy Holy Days to you.

Duncan, did you ever try looking in the mirror?

Kacy,
If I qualify for that status than I know of an angel that wears camelhair bikinis! However, true or false, the sentiment of this poem represents so well why I have been strengthened by PiPs (you and many others) to have the courage to carry on. Kacy, dear friend, may you have a long, long life or at least longer than mine. I think I'll always need your friendship.

And to Lyra...I can't even imagine what you are dealing with. But grace under stress is evident.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
