Dictionary diet,what a riot!

Tripping the inane and obscure obtuse,
the mundane and demur vamoose.
Lethargic and insidious traverse,
before the benign and behind reverse.

Lacking the luster of pellucidity,
the tastefulness of turbidity.
A Newtonian envisage of stark
cavorting precocious bark.

Salivating salmagundi succulence.
Dietetic delicate debauchery.
Palatable poetic pestilence.
Turgid turgor of terrible tense.

(giggles in delight) Oh my gosh, sounds like the diet isn't going so well! Oh well! (smiles) Your wonderful words always are filled with such poetic, alliterative, onomateopoeic suprises, sweet friend, I LOVE IT, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Well, this poem is just what the doctor ordered. It definitely tickled my funny bone!

I also got a chuckle out of Noah's witty response!

Noah....I had fun travelling through the
maze of my dictionary.....

Linda,  pleased you liked....Now, if I only
could remember all the meanings to the words
that I used  (they are real,  but my mind
is slow and old)

Martie...YEP,  I sure did....didn't you hear
the knock on the door when I came by and
picked it up?

Sun,  maybe I should have called this poem
scrambled brains  or something like that??

Yep,  I upgraded my dictionary within my
word processor and now I can write like
Noah,  only,  I don't have a clue what I am
writing.....

This was definately a mouthful. And then to think in one of your responses you said and I quote "I am slow and old". Not hardly dear Barry, if you were such you could not have penned this piece so well. Enjoyed your wonderful word play!

I like to read the dictionary too, Barry...
so please don't accuse me of nondiapausing deuterenopia and I promise that I will never accuse you of being a psocid.
