VICTIM I am a victim of my own making. My reality temporally forsaken. Mind created.. Heart waited.. Words said.. Passion fed.. Bliss indeed.. Only a need.. Never lies.. Tears cried.. Only a friend.. Till the end.. Nothing more.. Out the door.. No big deal.. Love not real.. Affair dealt.. Pain felt.. No regret.. I love yet.. I will be a victim until the end. A real world love for lover / friend. * That which gives light, must endure burning * |

Interesting form, the "I" of ourselves can certainly get in the way at times. This seems to be a rather sad, regretful piece with an attempt to convince the self it's no big deal. Hope you're feeling better now for having written it. That "good for the soul" stuff, you know. Good job, I think, at least if you wanted to convey what I got. Set me straight if I'm way off, please.
