Listening to every heart

Illumination
wakes sleeping forest spirits
bringing dance to limbs

Soughing needles sang
murmuring suddenly singed
moonlight cradling

Pine song wind song cries
incandescent spirits fly
embers, ashes, dust

Sunshine---You brighten my day! Good morning!Good morning! Good morning! It pleases me greatly that I, in some way, was the inspiration for your writing this. The word "beautiful" may be considered an over-used word in the English Language---but it's concept certainly isn't! So, this is what I think of your writing---BEAUTIFUL! BEAUTIFUL! BEAUTIFUL!

Karilea - just awesome....I can almost smell that sweet scent of pine. Enjoyed, Chris

Karilea

It is sad for me to see the smoke rising from my place of peace in the mountains, Michelle's home.  I think the pines do cry, along with so many animals that have lost there homes.  Hugs for this one.

Martie, as I finalized this little piece, I knew very well that if you were to see it, you would know in your heart what I miss, and that I was thinking how you must feel, so close to this as you are.

Thank you, everyone, for taking a moment out of your day to cast your eyes over this...

Seeds mercif'ly spared,
gracious Rain cools ground from sky,
Life from Death~~~~~rises.

I need to add this in some consolitory effort to say that life although destroyed and drove away, will return... did you know that pine trees "seeds" are set free to grow a new forest from the ashes of the old.  It is nature's version of re-incarnation.

Love, Light and Peace,

Sherry

Cherish the good memories past and look forward to the adventure called Tomorrow.
But above all... be kind to yourself today.

Sherry is right about reincarnation...but the
sadness is that it will take most of our
children's lifetimes to return the forest
to what it is now...

Yes, pines are beautiful...except when you
are raking up all the needles...That is my
job every week....but I do love them...

and I love this poem dear Sunny one....

and to Linda...thank you for inspiring the
golden one to write yet another beauty...

Magnus---I just dropped back in to read "the Golden One"'s" poem again and to read the wonderful responses she receives---I read yours, and I must admit, it did thrill me that she posted that this poem was inspired by me. (Sunshine---thank you so much for that!)Again I must say, "BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL,BEAUTIFUL"
