I love you as the crow flies,
Above most everything else
Beyond the infinite,
Unmeasurable distance

I love you as the crow flys,
For miles way over yonder,
Words are not available
No matter how I ponder

I love you as the crow flies,
I'm blind to all your flaws,
I love you as the crow flies,
I love you just "becaws"

You singing my love song to the world, sweets? LOL Or do I just feel a kinship with this poem because MY singing voice has been compared to a crow's? LOL
I love the Emily Dickinson feel of this... and the puns thrown in for good measure. *G* This is delightful! *S*

Toe darling boy this is utterly utterly wonderful, I was going to give you an enraptured speech about how effortlessly this drifts over the soul and caresses the eyes, and the mind with beauty, but I’m sure you don’t want to hear that. Or that this is a fabulously well written and deceptively simple poem that has incredible complex schemes within, do you? No I didn’t think so. So I’ll simply say that I love the form and the content, and utterly utterly love it, I admire tremendously your skill in teasing such wonder from such seeming simplicity

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire
Oh

You love her as the crow flies?
I'm sure that she must know
The only time you say that
Is when you're plastered on Old Crow!!

Your stuff is fun. Now I read your comment on darklings poem that your poems suck..now spelling isn't enough of a reason for you to say that, there is a lot of potential in your writes...besides the tendency these days is to write words the way they sound phonetically. So keep up the good work and comment on my stuff too.
