I awoke to find your note On the pillow where you'd slept I was totally unaware Of all the secrets you had kept Someone new had claimed your heart Now my love became passe Words had all but failed me As I struggled for something to say You took my love for granted Pretending that you cared How dare you hurt my feelings After all the times we shared The color in my life has faded My guiding light has now dimmed How could I have been so blind Not to know that you had sinned The tears run down my face Like watercolors in the rain How cowardly you were To not bear witness to my pain You have broken my heart My blue skies have turned grey Things will never be the same Since the day you went away Suetang |
