Back then we were so young
And had almost finished school
How much I looked up to you
I always thought you were so cool

There was a party at the beach
Neither one of us could wait
Such a night would promise love
This was to be our first real date

We stepped out for some air
And you looked into my eyes
I could almost read your mind
So full of wonder and surprise

You whispered in my ear
As you tenderly took my hand
In the moonlight we walked
Two young lovers on the sand

The gentle breeze caressed us
As we stood for a while
It was then I became enchanted
By your warm sensual smile

Our lips found one another
By the light of the moon
Firmly held in your embrace
Love's power made me swoon

We made love on the sand
For no longer could we wait
Love had claimed us as victims
So easily sealing our fate

We strolled back together
Drunk on love we both were
I still remember your touch
And the feelings you stirred

(smiles) Oh Sue, this is soooooo beautiful, sweet friend, this made me cry because I have never been on a date yet and me and my dream girl Joanna may meet this summer and just the thought of dating her and looking into her shiny green eyes makes me cry in joy! (kiss on cheek) This is soooooo beautiful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Wow! Sue....You have a real knack for portraying those love scenes with such sincerity of heart but with an underlying biological pressure pushing against the words in the leading verses.

Very very well done!

Nicely painted canvas of a moment when two
hearts beat as one...

Thank You Sue...

Hey Sue - Hot times down under! I loved this - reminded me of a wonderful date with my hubby.

Here I'm sending you pictures of flowers and you're writing steamy love poems! Isn't life a hoot?  Hugs, Marti
