Somewhere... out there...

~*Multi-Colored Mist*~

Mary Mary...so contrary...
May I ask of you today-
In your lovely garden fair
Have you seen a muse at play?

My girl has disappeared again
She's wandered on her way
She loves to find new playgrounds
So at home she will not stay

Mary looked up from her planting
And was just about to speak
When the garden hose she was holding
Split open and started to leak

Poor Mary...she was soaking wet
But she simply smiled and said
The tulips will be happy
There's rain in the flower bed

Then suddenly there was a sound
A silver bell was ringing
And there among the cockle shells
The pretty maids were singing

The spray from Mary's garden hose
Played rainbow with the sun
And in the multi-colored mist
Danced a muse who'd found her fun

~vlraynes

"...until you have read the verse on his heart,
you have not truly met the poet.

Hey girlie!!!
Welcome back.....seems you found your muse playing in the garden...
Mine took my beach towel and hasnt been seen since summer came in
So good to find your name here on these pages again.
jm

You ...
You are still a whisper on my lips ...
A feeling at my fingertips.

Hello, hello sweet Vicky pal
I'm glad to see you here again
I knew you would come back some day
But just didn't know when

It's good to read your lines again
They always make me smile you see
I've missed you dearly lovely gal
You get lots of KNUFFELS from me

Now grab that muse of yours and take her home.

Not only does poetry take time,
but presentation does, as well...
and my dear Vicky, you presented
this so very, very well...

The spray from Mary's garden hose
Played rainbow with the sun
And in the multi-colored mist
Danced a muse who'd found her fun

I just love the playfulness of this one, Vicky and the way you put those colors in...
Spectacular...
