Gosh I’ve loved you for so long
Was I born with you in my song..
I can’t always say what I want to or should
And it isn’t always me that stops me from saying
But, it isn’t always you either I am saying
I stand in awe at the children you raised,
At the strength you have, and the love you gave,
I just can’t believe it has been so many years..
But then we wouldn’t know each other like this
                        if it weren’t lots of years?
Do you think there is a place for new
Do you think we will always be comfortable
                        in what we have become?
Do you think we might start becoming again..
Do you think there is room for revolution..
Or will it be like when we got excited before
We laughed and we cried and sought to become
Then we found we were us..
                       and there wasn’t much room to become

I want to become – I want to for sure
Well maybe what I want is to be comfortable as before.
