Twilight Hues of blue and black peppered by stars, the cosmos in wait of a moment resting Eyes of shine gazing lazily a blink to darkness Call of the loon trilling in the night echo as one awaits the mate Alone steps of once before leading away into the still of night toward memory lane fading A single tear captured by an eye in wait of a mate to follow the glisten of a cry in linger. Silence, broken by a decanter’s ice crackling. Melting in wait of a moment, a moment now lost to forever. Fall’s love in break. A vintage wine aging slowly as does the heart’s beat in solitude. A pair of tears in trace, falling slowly into the grass of a trampled heart as two loons call. |

Magnus darling boy OH MY WORD this is seriously excellent writing, the flow of this is perfect, and the content utterly utterly beautiful. You know how I rhapsodise over your writing, well this time I can’t give you plaudits enough. I know I’d never be able to write even half as well as this but I really wish I could. I’m always telling you that you are in my top five, and you are, this is perfectly lovely.
