Times Past That
Couldn't Last

Some situations
seem to fit better
into the past.
When you said you
were leaving me
I didn't want
it to last.
Thank God
you're still with me
and leaving me
was times past
that couldn't last.

It's interesting to look at the past in terms of remembered conversations, and appreciate the pleasure of what we have now.
Thanks.

This is really nice-it makes you appreciate what you have (or who you have *smiles) while you have it (or that special person *smiles again*).  Thanks!

(big hugggsssssss) Oh James, this is sooooo emotionally striking as many of your fine poems are, sweet friend, I know how it must hurt to miss someone and I am relieved you have again reunited! (sigh) This is powerful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet James, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
