you wanted something different you said
as we talked about butterflys and hearts
and the inherited patterns of an inker's tradition

you were a windowpane of mirrors
looking down at the beach below
swaying your hips to hendrix rhythm
and letting night caress your bareness
more slowly than my eyes could comtimplate

as colors began delineation of serpentine
on your arms and waist suggestions
ghosts glided goose flesh dimples
below your back blades sides
like fingertips with jagged ends, you said

pulling off  freckles and drilling little holes
  then nailing them back down
with long skinny spikes that sting tingle
til' they bottom out against my bones

some unchained melody was splashed on after
by rightous brothers filling in the edges
coating the wounds of you with glossy
and sounds of chills a memory would replay
in twenty years when you would look again

for something different than tradition. .

Windowpane of mirrors...

I would like to know how you do that, but then,
that would be like asking the magician for his secrets,
and that, I would never do...

Unchained Melody...still plays when I make flower deliveries in my snug hug van.  It has memories old and new.

Loved your poetry!

...what an image, a poem, your 'brain goofies'? oh no, so much more than that. Your writing feels me. *Peace.

indigo...think it was purple haze..the album anyway....
as for tattoo, well I would have to check out the canvas first and consider where to place the object...center of the back just above the hips was this ladies choice....that area is always seductive as a modeling place.  Thanks to you for the read babe.

Alicia, Hi lady from the east, thanks to you so much for your read and reply, always a pleasure to see you when you visit.

make sure
you count the freckles first
just to make sure
you put them back from whence
they flew...

(smiles) Yay!!! Oh my gosh, I just love this, I am a big modern fan of Jimi Hendrix, I especially love his song "Castles made of sand, fall into the sea...eventually!"! (big hugggssssss) It is both funny and sad how traditions can change so drastically, I consider myself to be a conservist and cherish all of yesterdays pop culture and dreams! (big hugggssssss) This is breathtaking, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

"for something different than tradition. ."

as might be said of this inker's bit of ink, with another sort of pen.

Enjoyed this, Dark

Tradition has it's place and non-tradition does as well.....very cool write.  Like reading your perspective and learning new ways to convey.  Very much enjoyed.
