A Word Filled Brush

Faithful feathered minstrel scops paean their lark,
ounces of fearless courage caroling their art.
Hushed voices of rapport,
their understudies part.

Prismatic hues of glory striking purple canvas drops,
bold strokes of renaissance inspired hands aloft.
Van Allen moonlit lightning
nature's power thoughts.

Shifting whispering gypsy breaths casting bristled dreams,
portraits of flower maidens painted by a stream.
Visions of collage invading,
memories to caprice.

Airy pastoral hillsides boasting foregrounds sagely lush,
pastures of verdure, placid postcards begging touch.
visions from their windows,
painted with a wordfilled brush.

You can find them in there. However, they are hard to capture!

The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up
spaces of consciousness and resistance; to language oppressions; to
re-language historie

Thank you Saunni and Keth for the 'incredible' word....your comments much appreciated!

ecrivan.....So happy you could drop in to read this.

Sunshine.....He he, you're right stuttering isn't something that I associate with your easy flowing poetic works of words........But I'll take a stutter and thank you both for the inspiration!!

ethome, I agree to capture them is no small feat, so I'll just say I appreciate them both and let it at that.  Very clever and wonderful writing.

I don't know my friend ... it seems to me that you are doing a pretty good job at the writing yourself, but then again, I never once thought that you needed to catch anyone.  I have always enjoyed and admired your individual talent and the way you seem to be able to drop a feeling or thought into them and allow us to experience them with you.  All this said and done ... I too have tried to catch them and it AIN'T easy.  Excellent write and just as worthy a tribute.  Well done my friend.
